APM Feature Request - Merge Templates

We would like to submit a feature request for APM that would allow us to select two or more APM templates and merge the components into one by selecting the name of the master template or typing a new template name. It would be nice to be given the option to delete the templates being merged from or keep them as well.

While not exactly "merging", you can fulfil this use case today using the copy component monitor option under [Settings - Manage Component Monitors within Templates]
