I am using ghost to push out clones on to two laptops Panasonic CF-30 Mark I and Mark II versions. My ghost images works fine on the Mark I, but on the Mark II the same image gives me the following error when trying to run Cirrus Configuration Management utility ver 8.3.0.85.
Error:
Cannot start ConfigMgmtEngine8.dll
429: ActiveX component can't create object.
You may need to reinstall this application.
Current fixes attempted:
ran regsvr32 on configmgmtengine8.dll, cirrusswdiscoveryservices8.dll, swdiscoveryservices9.dll, and sqldmo.dll
None of these fixed the situation.
I am also posting a similar problem under the Toolset forum with tools that have failed with similar error.
