We are currently running IPMONITOR and are evaluating the upgrade to APM. One of the monitors that is critical to us is a queue depth for an application running on AIX. This MIB returns the cumulative total of the queue depth and we want the monitor to tell us if the count changes. In IPMONITOR there is a check box that selects an option "use the difference between the last and current value". This allows us to set the threshold at >= 0 and then if the count changes we can be alerted of the change.
I have not been able to find any similar option in the APM monitor tools. For SNMP all I can find is greater than for a critical condition. Does anyone know if a similar option to IPMONITOR is available, or how this may be done?

Brad.
