Assigning a view to a Node Details page for specific devices

I get that you can throw all sorts of resources to the default Node Details page and have them appear or not if appropriate, but after a while the default node details page gets pretty crowded, especially as you add UnDPs for non-standard devices.  How does one create a view and then "assign" it as the Node Details page for a specific device or set/class/group of devices?

I would have thought that's what the Vew Limitation was for, but that didn't work (device still comes up with default page).

Sorry. I accidentally deleted the verified answer. But here it is via Pacetti:

"If I understand you correctly, you already have a new Node Details view configured the way you want it. Have you set the View by Device Type for the devices that are still coming up with the default view?

If not, click Settings, and then click Views by Device Type in the Views grouping. Next to the device type in question, select your new view, and then click Submit.
