Just trying to get an idea on what kind of specs people are using for there Orion SAM installations as i seem to frequently get some performance issues, mainly navigating around nodes and application monitors within Orion.
Im running my Orion Web Console, SAM & WPM from 1 Virtual Machine which consists of;
8 vCPU
16GB vRAM
Using a combination of Flash/SAS disks from a VNX Array via 8GB fiber channel to ESX host.

Im running my SQL server on its own virtual machine, specs below;
8 vCPU
26GB vRAM
Using a combination of Flash/SAS disks from a VNX Array via 8GB fiber channel to ESX host.
If i say so myself id say that the above is a pretty decent setup however sometimes it seems that the orion console just locks up, becomes unusable and is painfully slow when navigating round pages/nodes or even just refreshing the home screen!
It seems ok right now but im just really looking to compare my setup with everybody else and especially if anybody else is using virtual infrastructure to host there SolarWinds install.
