Is there any way for me to set up a Node Listing view of just the nodes assigned to our department? Each of our nodes have a custom 'Department' property defined. I'm pretty new to Orion, so any help is very much appreciated.
There's a few different ways to do this. The easiest would be to create an account limitation based on this property for that account Using the Account Limitation Builder.
Once your custom properties have been created and assigned to the nodes you can build a new account limitation.
Then limit an account based on this property.
The "All Applications" resource can be easily grouped by Department by clicking "Edit" in the top right of the resource and selecting "Node Department" as one of the items to group the nodes by.
The "Department" field for each node can be populated using the Custom Property Editor located under [Settings - Manage Custom Properties"] selecting the "Department" custom property from the list and clicking "View / Edit values"
Note, this can also be done for the "All Nodes" resource using the same principals described above.
How would I set this for individual people? In other words, I don't want to change the default view for many of our users, just my group.
