I've noticed similar issues with Cirrus since upgrading to V4. My node list seems to scroll down by a few nodes every five to ten seconds. If I just leave it sit, it will eventually scroll down to near the end of my node list.
Can you try disabling node monitoring / rediscovery by navigating to File > Settings > Node Monitoring? If this seems to resolve the performance issue, then your the problem you're experiencing is a known issue that we're working on resolving in SP1.
It would be really helpful for us if you would open a support ticket online so we can track all customers experiencing this issue and make sure you're the first to be notified (and potentially involved in testing the fix).
Yes...disabling the monitoring helped. I also reduced the # of configurations seen down to 10.BB
I also have the same problem - I basically leave node monitoring off permanently. We also run Orion, so I didn't consider it a big issue.
Dave.
Definitely the same problem here... it's also running in the Mac version of MS RDP Client, to add to the slowness. It's no longer even responsive, it's like the application has completely frozen, and every 3-4 minutes, the file menu comes up (which is what I had clicked on earlier).
Cirrus is completely unusable at this point.
Is anyone still seeing this issue? I thought it was fixed but I went to us the server this morning and it has the same weird problem. The scroll bar is acting possessed moving up and down and the system is slow or unusable. I'm using 5.1.

For those experiencing slowness issues with 4.x or earlier, try disabling node monitoring to see if that resolves your issue.
For those experiencing slowness issues with 5.1, please open a support ticket on these items and include a link to this thread. We have a fix slated for 5.1.1 that may resolve your issue and we may need your help in validating this fix resolves the issue you're experiencing.
Thanks in advanced for your help!
I opened a ticket. Case #77926
