I have a node I added that resides on a virtual machine (Server 2008 R2 Datacenter) at a remote location. Used to be monitored as a different name. My supervisor went in and changed the name in SolarWinds, and now node shows 'down', while every aspect shows 'up' as it was before name change. I've removed the node and re-added it (which has worked every other time he has botched it up.), and am seeing the same thing. Any recommendations as to where to look to see whet is down, or why its reporting down?
