Using Custom Poller Data in Custom Report

Hi,

I'm using a few custom pollers to record historical Juniper data for my Firewalls. I've also written a few custom reports that are working quite well. How do I tie out the custom poller to a field so I can include this in Report Writer? Basically, I want to include custom poller data in my custom reports. Anyone?

Hi Firewall72--

You can do this using the Orion Report Writer. Here are some very general instructions:

1. Click Start>SolarWinds Orion>Alerts, Reports, and Mapping>Create a New Report>Historical - Custom Pollers

2. Click the Select Fields tab.

3. Click the ... box.

4. Click on the *.

5. Select Custom Pollers (Historical Statistics).

6. Select the fields you want to caputure.

7. Click the Filter Results tab.

8. Click the ... box.

9. Create the filter results.
