How can I remove External nodes from showing down on Network summary page

Question

I have added some external nodes in Orion so that I can test webpage access and now these nodes show down all the time. I am being asked what these are and why are they showing down.

I would like to be able to add external nodes and not have them show up anywhere is this possible and if so how.

profzoom,

External nodes should not have a status of up *or* down. Instead, they are supposed to always have a status of "external"
and they are never supposed to factor into your reports. Click here for a full list of status types.

As this seems not to be the case for you, I'd recommend opening a ticket with support so that we can find out why you are seeing this odd behavior.
