Hi guys,
I was just wondering if someone can clarify few bits around QoE and WPM marriage.
So, I need to be able to monitor user experience for the cloud-based app (SaaS, no network access), which is published on HTTPS/SSL. My thinking goes like that:
1. I will deploy QoE agent on dedicated desktop at the user-based location
2. I will install QoE agent and configure to monitor SSL from it (looks like I cannot differentiate between different domains here, so, will just need to ensure my SSL traffic generated by the host is exclusively for this cloud-based app)
3. I will deploy WPM agent and setup transactions for this cloud-based app
Questions:
Will WPM agent produce traffic that will also be seen and captured by QoE?
- If yes, it then looks like pretty automated setup which I like. I then should be able to answer Big question - is it network or app from QoE + drill-down into app transactions via WPM to troubleshoot app if needed. Am I right here?
Any other possible way to monitor end-user experience to cloud-based app over HTTPS/SSL? Seems like QoE is not able to differentiate between domains for SSL connections. Just wonder how others are doing it
