Asset Inventory --> Installed Software is not showing all installed programs

I just upgraded to SAM 6.0.1 and the Installed Software section of the Asset Inventory isn't showing all of the installed software, is there some additional configuration required or is this a known issue? Is this information collected via the Host Resource MIB?

Correct. WMI will provide significantly more information over SNMP. For SNMP we use the hrSWInstalled "1.3.6.1.2.1.25.6" OID from the HOST-RESOURCES-V2-MIB which should list all applications installed, provided those applications properly update the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall" registry key.

Hrm, I was afraid of that. We use SNMP as our standard and WMI only when necessary. It seems that with Orion more and more things are moving to WMI which is good because it's agent-less but bad because it's slow as molasses on a cold winters day.
