Help with an Exchange 2010 performance counter

hi everyone,

I hope someone out here can help me with this application monitor for Exchange 2010. It is the .NET CLR Exceptions: # of Excepts Thrown / sec that keeps being a bit high. Just added in the Exchange 2010 application monitor to my exchange servers and on both servers it fluctuate between healthy, warning and critical.

I can see the thresholds is set to 5 and 10. Is that correct?

Any help would be good.

Environment:

2 Virtual Exchange 2010 SP2 RU3

4 virtual cores per virtual sockets

2 virtual sockets

10 GB of Ram

350 mailboxes on each server (200 actual user accounts on each server. 150 shared mailboxes on each server)

DAG Group set up.

Orion Core 2012.1.0, SAM 5.0.1, NPM 10.3, IVIM 1.3.0

I mainly wondered if i need to tweak the application monitor thresholds

The thresholds are correct, but they should be adjusted to suite your environment size. You should not be seeing greater than 5% of total requests return in error, but you would have to see what represents 5% in your environment and adjust the thresholds accordingly.
