Added new host, client can't see it

I inherited a Solarwinds monitoring solution after someone left our company. We are running 8.0.2 and have multiple clients on the box. Solarwinds is setup so that each client can only see their own devices. I added a new device which I see fine, but the client cannot see the new host. Is there a step in which I need to add the device to the clien't 'pool' of hosts?

I think you need to look at defining a custom property for the device using the custom property editor.

I went to 'Solarwinds custom property editor' and it stated that there were no custom properties, which leads me to believe that this how it was setup originally.

also you may limit the acount based on a custom property
