What determines where the node is automatically placed on the world map?

Question

We have several hundred nodes that show up randomly on the world map.  Some have a site number and others have a site number and a city name in the SNMP location field.  Trying to figure out what info is used to place these locations on the map when it is done so automatically.

Basically, if the address is in a format that can be resolved to a Lat/Long location by OpenStreetMap, then it will appear on the map within a few minutes after being added to the database. Best practice is to use as full an address as possible. Do you have any international addresses? Sometimes, those can be a little more iffy.
