Unable to upgrade from 9.1 to 9.5

Hi all, i am getting this error when i try to upgrade from 9.1 to 9.5

Note that if i try to install 9.5 (without having 9.1 installed) on the same server, it works fine as a fresh install, just doesnt want to upgrade. same SQL database on the same sql2005 server.

The SolarWinds Orion Network Performance Monitor 9.5 Evaluation requires SQL 2005 SP1 or higher.

Setup will now abort.

Best bet is to open a support ticket. What SP level is the SQL Server at?

thanks, its at SP2 i believe but i cant check it myself so i will ask one of the IT guys. i was able to get around this error by running the installer in windows2000 compatibility mode! so i got the 9.5 upgrade to go through fine.

what heppened next though, it took like 4 hours to "import old maps" and when it was done (though i verified most/all the maps are available in network atlas/web console) it said there was an error importing the maps.

ill give it a try again later, but so far i guess its going ok. just have to get the database ties done over with a clone of the live db so we can confirm everything is perfect before we upgrade the live solarwinds servers!
