I'm looking for a Knowledge base article or Technical Reference that explains where the log files for each product are kept and can provide a general idea of what type of information is contained in each log file. To take it a step further it would also be helpful to include logs outside the products that write error messages pertaining to the products like the IIS weblogs and the system logs.
Does anything like this exist? This would help us have a better understanding of where to look when we are having a problem with the products. Heck you could even include questions on the SCP exam pertaining to this information.
