Node is Up but no Stats

Hi,

I am running NPM 7.8 version on windows 2003 server. Everything was working till a few days back but for no reason one of my nodes cannot be accessed by NPM. I can ping it from command prompt.

Now I have tried to reduce the icmp packet size, changed the nodes ip address and have done almost all I could find in the forms but to no avail.

Please advice ......

Node availability is determined by ICMP (ping) and Stats are gathered by SNMP, so if the NPM can ping it and says that its up but your not getting statistics from it then its an SNMP access issue... Here are some things to check:

Are there any SNMP ACLs on the remote node?

Are there any Firewalls in the path to the remote node and is your NPM's SNMP traffic allowed?

I cant even ping it from within NPM but from a command prompt it pings perfectly..?????
