Greetings, am I correct in that the way to upgrade licensing from SL2000 to SLX is to download the SLX version and resintall the new version?
If not what is the correct procedure?

Hi,
1) Backup your database and the below folders:
\Program Files\Solarwinds\Orion\Reports & Maps
2) Uninstall Orion SL2000. (Add/Remove Programs)
3) Install Orion SLX and connect it to the same database during the Configuration Wizard.

If you haven't already, you may need to contact Sales (sales@solarwinds.com) to get an upgraded license.
You can't just download the software and install it with repair after backing up? Totally uninstalling makes me a bit nervous.
