Custom NCM device template, need to ignore 'login' text

Hello,

I have a device that so happens to report a list of recent logins at login time, with the text 'recent login users:' followed by a list of those.

It seems NCM is taking that as a cue to provide the username, but we were already logged in and didn't need to supply a username. After that NCM bombs out and won't let me create the device template.

All I need to do with this device class is be able to log in and execute scripts.

Any advice from the collective?
