How do you monitor Orion SQL performance using APM?

Without a doubt, one of the most frequent topics on Thwack concerns how to optimize performance of the Orion SQL database.

One of the best features of the Orion family is the ability to use APM to monitor very specific aspects of any application's performance - including Microsoft SQL.

So, what aspects of SQL do you monitor using APM in order to assess the performance of the Orion database? What perf counters do you use?

We monitor all of these on our Orion SQL box...

Buffer cache-hit ratio, Latch wats, Full scans, Page reads/sec, Page writes/sec, Disk Reads/sec (Logs), Disk Writes/sec (Logs), Disk Reads/sec (Data), Disk Writes/sec (Data)
