Looking at the KB article listed in your screenshot, the advice for your error message is:
A main Orion server has already been installed on this server. You cannot install an additional component on a main Orion server.
If you're looking to stack your polling engines on the same server, contact support as I believe there's some intervention required, or perhaps a slightly different installer.
I was trying to upgrade the existing.
So yes there is already one running, but I guess you cannot do it with this package.
By upgrade, do you mean move from one version to another? In which case you simply need to use the SolarWinds Upgrade Advisor to work out what your upgrade path is, and download the identified updates from your customer portal. The Additional Polling Engine is another beast entirely, and is generally installed on a separate server to spread the polling load/increase polling capacity.
Hi,
The upgrade was meant to upgrade Orion Platform 2015.1.3 to newer, but understand now that this package was for an Orion Additional Web Server.
So I found the problem.
