Report.Compare.Two files??

Question

Does Cirrus have a similar feature to the Kiwi CatTools Report.Compare.Two files (compare two files and see how your the config of a device compares to a template)?

We loaded up the eval, but don't see anything like that. It would be useful as we have a lot of same-model routers that we "inherited" and need to bring them up to a master template.

Two additional options are as follows:

One option is to import a config file into Cirrus and compare it against various configs one by one.  In order to import a config file, you highlight a device within Cirrus, open Windows Explorer, choose the desired file, drag it into the Nodes List, and click OK.  You can then highlight the config file and any other config within Cirrus, right-click, and select "Compare Selected Configs".

Another option is to set up a Policy Report that contains the desired rules that you want to either appear or not appear within the configs.  The rules can be placed in a Policy and then within a Policy Report.  You can then run the Policy Report against all or a selected set of devices.  A report detailing all the violations will be displayed.

Yes Cirrus does- Select the two config. files in the left pane and cllick ->Configs->Compare.

You can compare configs between two different devices, compare configs between running versus startup, compare configs between the last downloaded config and baseline configs., also various Alerts can be sent out when configuration changes are detected.
