SolarWinds Lab Equipment
Josh_Stephens
We're currently working to expand our labs and need your input. We would like to hear from you with regards to the types of equipment that you're using in your network, especially if that equipment is hard to manage using SolarWinds software.
Thanks in advance for the information.

EMC CLARiiON SAN and Brocade fiber switches are very difficult to manage using SolarWinds. SolarWinds usage has expanded in our organization and Storage is the next place people are looking for detailed reports on just like they are receiving for the Ethernet network
Built in support for APC and Liebert UPS & Cooling Equipment would be AWSOME!

Just about any VPN concentrator could do with some custom reporting - number of concurrent connected users. Number of times users login in per day. How long each session lasts.
We use Cisco 3030 & 3080 VPN concentrators, but are looking at the new ASA5500s as well as Juniper Netscreens.

I'll second NG's comments. We are using ASA 5510's and the VPN reporting would be sweet.
I'll also second lavelanet's recommendation on the IBM AIX boxes.
