Alerting Not Working under 9.5

I'm a newbie, but I'm configuring Alerting under 9.5 which we upgraded to recently.  We only installed 9.1-SR5 a few days prior to that.

I have configured basic and advanced alerting to alert into the eventlog if a node reboots.

When I run a manual test under Basic Alerts it logs correctly into the event log

When I run a manual test under Advanced Alerts it Fails to write to the eventlog

If I actually reload my test router I'm using in the model office, the reboot shows up under events view in System manager but nothing is logged into the eventlog.

I've rebooted the server, doesn't fix

Have run diagnosics and it says that its written to the eventlog OK.

Have run a repair and this has not fixed.  Alerting was not tested under 9.1-SR5 as we upgraded to 9.5 before gettting to this so i can't tell you if it worked under 9.1

Any advice greatly appreciated.  We have a old 100 node licenced 7.8.5 version that works fine ironically enough.

Hi Dan,

I checked the case you opened and it looks like issue has been solved for the advanced alerts. The action "Send an Email/Page" was configured for the Trigger actions but missing for the reset ones.

I just wanted to share this with other users in case someone come across the same issue.
