what size is your Cirrus database?

Question

All Cirrus users,

I am doing a little research on the range of typical Cirrus database sizes in the user community.

I would appreciate it very much if you would reply to this post with the size of your Cirrus database (raw size and number of devices being monitored). Also, please tell me whether your database runs on the same server as your Orion database, and also what are the hardware particulars of that server.

Thanks for the information. Are you running the Orion and Cirrus apps on the same server, and are you housing both the Orion and Cirrus databases on the same but separate server? Just curious.

Yes, we are running Cirrus and Orion on the same box (we also have another Orion Polling server) and the Cirrus and Orion Databases are on the same SQL server.  The Orion DB is about 70 GB right now. It was much larger, but we recently purged some data that we used to track via the syslog server.

Ours is about 550MB with 172 devices.  Orion and Cirrus are on the same front-end server as well as the same DB server.
