What does IsServer mean?

I would like to create an alert to send email notification when the CPU load for all the servers in our domain is greater than 80%.

I have attached one screenshot trigger condition for the alert template. What does IsServer mean? I have seen this alert does not really poll all the servers in our domain.

That's a boolean value from the dbo.NodesData table in the database. It is a default data point that is created without user interaction based on some behind-the-scenes logic that looks at things like Vendor and MachineType fields.

What you're probably running into is discrepancies with servers that either were missed due to a faulty check in the back-end, or they are polled via ICMP so Orion cannot see whether or not they are servers.

It might prove more useful for you to use a Custom Property to filter the CPU Alert to only Servers going forward.
