Im trying to send an inventory/database from our our solarwinds server to cisco using the cisco smart advisor tool. The tool works fine altough be it with only devices in the NCM module. When cisco provide the report it seems the hostname/ipaddresse is populated with our soarwinds accout number rather than the actual hostname. Very diffeicult to differentiiate which device your looking at. cna anyone help on how to resolve this.
The purpose is to get complete serial numbers to cisco for them to provide detaisl on EOS EOL etc.
doesn anyone know of another way to do this. If i use the hardware tag report it doesnt provide serial numbers for modules and stacked switches
