You asked for more functionality and we have delivered. Which is why we are even more excited to give you a sneak peak at what you will see in SolarWinds Application Performance Monitor’s next release.
This release features new server hardware monitoring (fan speed, power supply status, etc.) capabilities. The following hardware vendors will be supported out of the box:
· Hewlett-Packard (HP) ProLiant
· Dell – PowerEdge
· IBM – X Series
· VMware Hosts
In addition to hardware monitoring, this release will offer the following new features:
· Real-Time Process Explorer: This feature will monitor all processes running on your server in real-time for CPU, Memory, Virtual Memory, and Disk I/O. This allows you to quickly diagnose server performance issues by proving real-time troubleshooting information within the SAM web console.
· IPV6 support
Our new Server & Application Monitor, formerly known as Application Performance Monitor, is getting a new name that does justice to all of the incredible server and app management features packed into its latest release.
