Is it possible to have an alert for the specific components in Appinsight for Exchange? I already tried using the Components for the alert but when i tried to simulate, the appinsight for exchange components are grayed color.
AppInsight components are treated really no different than components within traditional application templates as shown below.
Are the components grey (unknown status) on the application tab at the moment? If so, you have a polling problem somewhere and will need to resolve that before any alerts can be configured (or at least if you wanted the alerts to do anything ).
