CPU capped after upgrade

We recently did a software and license upgrade and ever since then the CPU on the box has been pretty consistently pegged at 100%.

I'm also noticing multiple instances of NPM processes running, but I'm unsure if they should be or not. For example, I see the following processes:

SWJobEngineSvc.exe, SWJobEngineSvc2.exe, SWJobEngineWorker.exe, SWJobEngineWorker.exe, SWJobEngineWorker2.exe, SWJobEngineWorker2.exe

Is that normal? Did we do something wrong in the upgrade? Is it safe to End Process any of these?

From what version to what version you did upgraded?

CPU hitting 100% is a worry.And at the same time,its hard say whats causing the problem from the description above.You may check the task manager to see which ones are consuming considerable memory utilization(after sorting the memory).If you don't find any process other than SolarWinds,I would recommend to open a support ticket to investigate further.

Download Windows Sysinternals Prcess Explorer and run it on the the box that is pegged at 100% CPU. This will tell you exactly which processes are running hot better than Task Manager can.
