When trying to monitor our Linux boxes with SNMP Process monitor, it seems that our box's are sometimes slow in returning SNMP and I was wondering where I adjust the SNMP Timeout / Retries like in NPM. Looking at my packet capture APM is performing a Get-Next on table 2.25.4.2.1.1 and I am seeing 3 Get-Next retries in 6 seconds and then I see the SNMP reply ~15 seconds later but APM seemed to give up and report our Linux processes as down. This is producing a ton of false alarms for us! Any ideas or tweaks I can do?
Thanks
