PPK SSH Key Support in NCM

Hi,

Could someone please tell me if it is possible to:

a.  Configure a managed NCM node to login using SSH (with a PPK key file).

b.  If yes, how and where should the key file be imported (Import wizard on MMC does not appear to support PPK files!).

Also, does anyone know if it is possible to manage LINUX nodes with NCM and pull back individual configuration files?

Hi James,

NCM does not currently support SSH key authentication -- username/password can be used.

NCM is not primarily designed to backup Linux servers however with a few tricks you can do it -- please see .
