Empty Config files
MicSchmidt
I have a daily scheduled job running witch downloads and saves all the changed configs. Sometimes one or more config files are empty and thereby different then the existing config. Does anyone have an idea of why I recieve these empty files? There are no problems if I manually download the config.

I am having the same problem. I found another post in the forums here that said to try changing the number of simultaneous downloads down to 5 instead of the default of 10. I tried this and I'm still having the issue - even after bringing my simultaneous downloads to 3.

I am having the exact same problem.
It seems that there is a correlation between when these blank configs are downloaded and when the WAN out to the location of the node has had problems, which makes sense if the download is interrupted. What doesn't make sense is that Cirrus in the first place acknowledges blank configs as valid. I mean: There IS no such thing as a blank config! Cirrus should be smart enough to realize that.

I think I've actually narrowed my problem down to SSH. It seems that configs retrieved using telnet don't seem to do this. I changed some of my devices to telnet and the problem has gone away. Still a very big problem, as I can't continue to run telnet all the time.
