Vlan ID report

Hi, I'm trying to run a report to give me a list of all ports configured on Vlan 110 on a group of about 125 switches. I've been able to get to the point where I can run a report on all the devices and return a list of all ports and vlan IDs but I can't seem to find an easy way to just filter out everything except ports on vlan 110. I can't imagine that you couldn't report on a particular vlan ID given that it's part of the inventory. Perhaps I need to use SQL commands but unfortunately I'm not familiar enough with SQL to know what to use. If anyone has could provide me with insight on this matter I would be grateful.

What report are you trying to use?

do you have a custom property for VLAN? I don't see that in the interfaces table

your filter might look something like:
where VLANID=110

If you are using InterfaceName to pull it your filter might look like this:
where InterfaceName like '%Vlan 110%'

Might be * vs. % depending on where you are.

Did you get a solution here? I have a similar need - we dont have any special/custom fields, but with Config Manager, since its already doing inventory on these devices, shouldnt there be a field we can use to get Vlan settings?

I know for Cisco switches, its either a "access" port, or "trunk" port, so I'd think we would want to filter that too.

Anyone get this figured out yet? I need the same report. I hate reinventing the wheel if I don't have to.

Looking into this through the NCM database the VLAN ID is going to be in two tables, VLANs and Bridgeports within the NCM database. The problem is that the NCM reports don't allow for custom SQL in either the writing or the filtering. However, this does not mean the information cannot be retrieved, even without a complex SQL query. One way to do it would be to get into the website, and go under Inventory on the Configs tab. From there run the Switch Ports inventory then select the filter to VLAN ID and choose the VLAN ID you want. Hit the search icon then use the export on the report to export the data out.
