I am trying to write a script that will create and configure a vlan5 svi for a new IoT network at 250 sites.
The new SVI takes the first three octets of the vlan100 SVI IP address combined with a
.129 host portion to create the interface ip PIP and HSRP VIP. It adds a /25 subnet mask
For example, if the vlan100 svi is 10.11.94.0/24, I would like the vlan5 SVI PIP to be 10.11.96.129/25, with the PIP 10.11.96.130/25
Having trouble calculating the new VIP and PIP. Also I struggle to understand how best to define variables for these.
I would be so grateful for any help with this
