Anyone managed to install NPM 9.5 Eval (or licensed version) on Windows 2008 R2? When installing I get an issue regarding the copying of the file jobengine.msi to a C:\ProgramData location.
Anyone seen this?
I have additional web servers running on R2 with no issues, but not pollers
I also have this issue. Trying to install NPM 9.5 (eval) on 2008 R2 System with IIS 7.0 running in 32-bit mode.
I have opened a ticket with support but have not yet heard back.
As soon as I have an answer, I will update this thread.
Cheers!

I have 9.5 SP4 installed on Server 2008 R2. The majority of my Windows servers (2003 and 2008) are not displaying any CPU, memory or disk info in NPM. I've got an open ticket but so far they haven't found anything out of the ordinary. I'm hoping this isn't an issue with R2 but I'll let you know.
I was told specifically that 2008 R2 is not supported and has not been
tested.
So we built a 2008 SP2 64-bit system. The results have been the same. Crashes of
SystemConfigurator (issue with .Net Protected memory access). The diagnostics also do not run to completion and crash.
Waiting to hear from support. They said that this is a very uncommon issue so I'm hoping it's just a setting somewhere.
Out of curiosity, are you running the DB on the same system, or on another server?
I think I'll try and get it to work with the express install.
Thanks,
I dont have R2 running but am running 2008 ent running with SP1.
I have installed the 30 day trial and it is worknig perfect.
