Hey everyone
a few weeks ago I came across an issue with AppInsight for Exchange where when expanding out my nodes and clicking on "Microsoft Exchange" it prompts me to configure the already configured and operational application monitor.

But when trying to configure the exchange server it gives me a generic error of "Remote configuration Failed" (shown below)

However, If i click on the "Up" section within "Application Health Overview" and access the application monitor for AppInsight for Exchange that way it works fine and brings up the fully functioning application monitor page https://imgur.com/a/pO42pkl


after reconfiguring WMI and certifications and restarting servers and uploading loads of logs the Solarwinds devs have came back and said...
Please see notes of our engineering team. This seems to be a bug in this version. This is safe to ignore as of the moment. This will be fix in the next release.

It looks like in SAM 6.9.1 is a bug for exchange zero config for node polled by Agent. The error description has always the same text "Unknown error occurred..." regardless of the real error. What is more log file with more information about error is not created.
As a workaround you can change polling method to WMI and check real error in file LogFile/APM/RemoteExcutableStarter.log.
