The new AppInsight for AD is pretty awesome. But, how does on generate statistical reports for some of the components. For example I want to pull the average LDAP Bind Times for the past n days.
Depends what type of chart you would like to see, but the fastest way in my opinion would be one of the following:
1. Create new report
2. Chose AppInsight Resource
3. Search for LDAP Metrics on the Node
4. Search for your Node with AD template assigned
5. Edit Chart -> Modify time period and select / deselect components
1. Open PerfStack
2. Add AD App Insight Entity
3. Add LDAP counter monitors. Save it as new project.
4. Add newly created project to one of your reports.
Thanks for the tip, That seems to have worked. One additional question. In the Performance Analysis console there is the ability to save the analysis as a .CSV file. When I create the report and take a look at it there is no option to export is or save it as a CSV file. Is that possible. Ideally I would like to have the report, which I run monthly and have it mailed out to management, to produce the reports and attach a .csv of the report

After your report is created you need to assign a Report Schedule to it (Admin > Alerts & Reports > Manage Schedules). On Frequency tab you can configure desired frequency and on "Action" tab of Report Schedule you need to add an Email action and there you can chose preferred format of the report.
jpaluch - Been there done that. Apparently it's not possible to have the Performance Analysis reports emailed as .csv or Excel file. I've tried and the reports are simply not attached to the e-mail. The other "non-Perf Analysis" reports that I have assigned to the same reports come through as Excel and/or .CSV attachments
