Has anyone able to use the search string function in HTTP monitor template

I want to record a web page availability only if i see a specific string in the Web page content . As per the document of APM2.5 it is possible via HTTP monitor.

When i add www.google.com in the monitor i can very well check the availability as success but as soon as i enter the search string as "Search" which is a keyword to search and is available on the google page it fails and record the application as down . I can cross check and can see the page working fine when i log into the poller server.

Thanks for your post.  If I understand your question correctly you are trying to monitor http://www.google.com for the word Search to verify the use of the HTTP Monitor in APM 2.5.

 

I have setup the same scenario against www.google.com and it works for me.

On the Application Details Page you should have a little orange box that says 'info' which has more information about the failure, does it say anything?
