SAM Convert Value

We are collecting 2 windows performance counters for Logical Disk

1. % free

2. Free Megabytes

We would like to do a transformation on these to get the total disk size.

Can this be done using the "convert value" feature within the Performance Counter Monitor component.

It's not possible to utilize statistics from multiple component monitors within a value conversion. The best/easiest method would be to monitor these volumes as part of the node using SNMP or WMI.

I think you meant to respond to this thread, and not start another one.

If these are Mount Points then I understand why you're not able to monitor these as normal volumes in Orion. As you're probably already aware this is something we're currently working on. In fact, the latest SAM 5.5 beta include support for monitoring Windows Volume Mount Points natively. If you'd like to give it a try yourself you can sign-up here to download the beta.

The only other option I'm aware of would be to write a PowerShell script
