Hey Guys,
We are running four proprietary services (e.g. MM1, MM2, MM3, MM4) on our production servers that we need to monitor. Each of these 4 MM services launches a corresponding JBoss.exe process. Each JBoss process then has a java.exe child process associated with it. Currently i am able to monitor the MM processes using "Windows Service Monitor." On the app summary page i can click on any of the services and see the corresponding jboss.exe process and process id.
The Problem is, my boss wants me to be able to monitor the individual java.exe processes that get spawned by the jboss processes and somehow nest or tie each java.exe process back to the appropriate MM service.
Is there an easy way to do this? If not, then i'll take the hard way
Command line filters maybe??
So far i've tried using both "Process Monitor - WMI" and "Process Monitor - SNMP." Both methods seem to return the same information. The problem with this is, the processes have the same name and the process IDs are not tied back to the individual MM services.
I Appreciate the help!
