Disable Appinsight Alerting

I really like the deep dive that SQL Appinsights provide, but I don't want to be alerted every time something there goes above a threshold or override the template so bad as to make it useless. Is there anyway to keep insights for drill-down review, but lose the alerts so I don't get 1000 emails a day?

Turn off SQL AppInsight based alerts, create a watered down SQL template for essential services/port check.
