How to create an alert for backup failure of the network devices in the solar winds console.Please share the link.
As part of the backup job it gives you the option to email out a list of all the results (and failures). Just enter your email there, much more efficient than getting an individual message for each device.
Tip: following on from what mesverrum mentioned
the backup jobs can general quite a few transient failures on a large network, and you might want to add one or more cleanup jobs that retry the backups for nodes that failed and email the result of that to someone to look at.
to do this you create a backup job with a Dynamic Selection criteria like this:
