SLA1 Alerts issue

Is there a way for an alert to be triggered after a node has been down certain amount of time? I tried playing with the warning<->down interval, but I need an alert to be trigered if a node is down for, say, 15 or 30 minutes. My superiors realy don't like solarwinds spamming them whenever a SLA1 customer resets the antenna or whatever...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
