Multiple NPP.EXE running in the background

I have this issue that the NotePagePro Ver 3 process NPP.EXE has multiple instance running & will hit a max threshold. This would effectively stop any SMS alert being sent out.
Has anyone encounter similar issue and any advice what action needed to be taken to resolve this?

How are you executing NPP to send out your SMS?

I have the same issue, and haven't been able to resolve it.

It seems each time Orion calls NPP from the Alerting Engine, a new instance of NPP is started, which doesn't terminate correctly. As we don't get may Alerts that page I have got into the habit of clearing teh process table from tack manager every day, but that really isn't practical.

Suggestions appreciated.

This may be many years after the fact but this issue was identified and resolved. The program should no longer spawn multiple instances of its executables when another application uses npp.exe's command line functions.
