App Insight for Exchange Development

Are SW doing any further development on the existing App Insight for Exchange template?

If so where can i see what is planned.

Our exchange admins keep moaning at us that its not checking for stuff they need so would be interested to see what is on the road map for this template.

I've not heard of any specific development around the exchange template, but if you can explain what specifically they are looking for that isn't there we might be able to come up with a solution here?

One thing they keep mentioning is the status of POP3. The windows service is monitored but not the actual availability of the protocol which could be down even if the windows service is up.

Thanks, i've request a "What's Missing?" list from the exchange bods so once I have that i'll add to this post.

I'm half expecting to script most of these extra things and create new templates but would be interested to see if SW have thoughts on the additional functionality required to round off the template.

Yeah that's what I would expect to do as well, there is already a component available for pop3 service monitoring, it just isn't part of the appinisght template.
