NCM unable to download running-config

Hi everyone,

We are currently in the early stages of the Orion suite evaluation (still in the trial period) and I am having some trouble getting NCM to work correctly.

When I try to download a configuration from any device it gives me an error stating: Unable to connect to polling engine SRV-NMS on the relevant server. Verify that NCM 7.1.1 or later is installed on the server.

All the relevant services are up and running and snmp communities are also fine.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Could you post some more information about your environment? Such as server OS, SQL version, and whether or not you're using any other products like NPM? The error message you're receiving would seem to indicate that a particular service isn't running.

You might also try re-running the configuration wizard.

I ended up reinstalling and it works just fine now.
