Parsing and monitoring data out of a .csv?

I'm currently evaluating SAM and was wondering if there was a way to monitor the contents of a file? We need to grab some data off of CSV files that come in and parse out the data and collect historical data. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how to do this?

This would be a custom script monitor, probably either Powershell script monitor or Linux script monitor. Depends where the csv file lives.

You'd create the script the parse the data and return a numerical number (statistic) and an optional text (message).

Like chad.every said, thats a custom script monitor for sure. Basically anything that you can't boil down to one of the built in components can be addressed with a custom script monitor as long as you have the powershell chops to make it happen.
