Hi All,
Has anyone ever encountered an issue like the one mentioned above? We have a setup where we have two additional web server licenses, one NPM Polling Engine, one Hot Standby Engine and an SQL all separate from one another. When we try browsing to any of the web sites including the Polling Engine's, there is a delay between 1-3 minutes before the login page appears. Once the web cache has the page and once we have logged in we are fine, we can navigate to devices, Top 10, Events, Admin, Alerts, etc., without any issues whatsoever. If we log out and log back in the login page appears immediately after the initial browse. This started happening about a few weeks ago. We upgraded to SP3 and it has helped quite a bit, but it still seems as though the page hangs when you first browse to it. Someone told me it could be DNS, however, even within the same subnet, accessing any one of the web servers takes at least two minutes on start. All the servers sit on a Virtual Infrastructure. I know that there are concerns with SQL being on a VM, but there is no indication that this is the cause. The DB is quite small, being about 500M so far. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
We have several customers that use this service to look at their stats for their Metro-E network and they have to endure what seems to be a very slow site when it is not. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
